Ancient Sumeria, c. 3000-2000 BC. Beautiful pair of earrings comprised of high quality ancient Sumerian black and red steatite stone with white shell beads. Hung on modern .925 silver earring hooks and findings.

Each measures approximately 1-1/8" from bottom to top of hook. Each pair is similar in appearance and condition, exact examples vary. ex-David Hendin collection, author of the definitive reference "Guide to Biblical Coins."
